The eligible actions correspond to two typologies:
1. Improvement of the energy efficiency of irrigation facilities. It will consist of the execution of actions of reform of irrigation facilities in agricultural and livestock farms and irrigation communities, for the renewal of their pumping equipment to reduce final energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The actions may be, as a guideline and not limited to:
The replacement of pumping groups by others that are more energy efficient.
The implementation of frequency variators and static starters or the replacement by more energy efficient pumping equipment.
The implementation or modernization of regulation, control and monitoring systems of the irrigation network that contribute directly to energy savings.
The installation or replacement of capacitor banks to improve the energy efficiency of the electrical installations of pumping stations.
Those actions that contribute to the increase in water consumption or irrigable area will not be eligible.
2. Improvement of energy efficiency and use of renewable energies in agricultural and livestock farms. It will consist of carrying out actions of reform of the farms and facilities consuming thermal, electrical and process energy of the agricultural and livestock farms that reduce final energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The actions may be, as a guideline and not limited to:
Actions on the thermal envelope that reduce the demand for heating and cooling of agricultural buildings (facades, roofs, windows) including bioclimatic solutions.
Actions in the thermal installations for heating, cooling, ventilation and sanitary hot water, such as those for pasteurization and preservation of perishable products, air conditioning of livestock buildings and greenhouses, refrigeration in wine fermentation processes, etc.
Improvement of the energy efficiency of generation, distribution, regulation and control subsystems and terminal elements of thermal installations, including the use of residual heat and new heat networks.
Replacement of conventional energy in thermal installations with thermal renewable energies (solar thermal energy, biomass, geothermal energy, ambient energy (aerothermal or hydrothermal), heat pumps or a combination of them). The replacement of a thermal generator with a fossil fuel generator will not be considered eligible.
Renovation or replacement of interior lighting and exterior lighting installations.
Renewal of motors for mechanical drives and other services specific to these activities.

This section contains a brief assessment of the FEFTS described.
There are 3 basic categories: General, Environmental and Socioeconomic assessment.
The purpose of this assessment is to give a quick overview to the potential FEFTS user of its application benefits.
For each question, the Likert scale is used with the following possible answers:
Strongly disagree, Disagree, Neither agree nor disagree (Neutral)/non applicable, Agree, Strongly agree
Keep in mind that this assessment is subjective, based on publicly available information.
All registered users are asked to evaluate each FEFTS and when an adequate number of reviews is gathered the results depicted here are updated. Each review is screened in order to avoid malicious practices.
FEFTS providers who do not agree with the assessment results, can send their inquiry to info@agrofossilfree.eu and a direct action based on their petition will be taken.
