The purpose of the study was to develop an innovative design of a trailed machine that implements the briquetting process using the coil method. SolidWorks software was used to develop the machine's design. As a result of the design work, a trailed machine consisting of 7 basic working units, mechanically and hydraulically driven, was created. The mechanical drive to the machine's main gearbox will be taken from the cooperating tractor and transmitted through the PTO. Hydraulic pumps will also be driven from the main gearbox, supplying hydraulic drive motors and cylinders. It has been assumed that the machine's output will be 1.5 t-h-1, with a power requirement of about 40 kW. The trailed machine developed at PIMR, which implements the process of briquetting straw materials by the coil method, is part of efforts to increase the use of straw for energy purposes.
